Key components in our Adult Day Training in Key West are our Art Program and our Fantasy Fest Bead Recycling Program.
Art Programs
Our clients paint ceramics, canvases, paint by numbers, and flower pots. Our clients also make beaded jewelry, notecards, and even Holiday and seasonal items. Many of these items go into our Gift Shoppe located in the Plant Store or into outside Art Showcases in local galleries.
Fantasy Fest© Bead Recycling
We have partnered with Fantasy Fest for an eco-friendly bead recycling program. Members of the community can donate bags of beads at various locations throughout Key West including the Key West Business Guild, the Greater Key West Chamber of Commerce, and our own Plant Store. The clients sanitize the beads in an industrial dishwasher, then separate according to size, make any necessary repairs, and bag them in 30 pound bags. The novelty beads are separated out for individual sale, however, the small and large gauge beads are sold for $35 per 30 pound bag. Fantasy Fest Beads can be purchased through our Plant Store.
