Thank you to CFFK for supporting MARC with the Paradise for Good Grant

Independent living is something many of us take for granted. For adults with developmental disabilities, it often takes the right support to make that independence possible.

With grant support from the Community Foundation, MARC is helping adults with developmental disabilities build the skills they need to live independently in the community.

Supported Living Coaches work alongside participants to develop practical skills like managing money, grocery shopping, preparing meals, organizing medications, and maintaining a home.

Already this year, MARC has seen a 20–30% increase in daily living skills achieved by participants in the program.

When people have the tools to live independently, they gain confidence, strengthen their communities, and have greater opportunities to thrive.
