That Was the Year That Was, It’s Over Let It Be
Greetings MARC Family and Friends
That Was the Year That Was, It’s Over Let It Be
To Re-vise a phase from the Old TV show “Laugh In”
The COVID-19 outbreak disrupted all of our lives. MARC maintained an outlook of keeping safe and healthy. We worked through this difficult time and rose to this unprecedented challenge.
We’d like to salute our staff for remaining calm and putting the needs, safety and morale of the individuals we serve as a priority as they continued to provide services. We tip our hat to the extraordinary individuals we serve in their flexibility as programs got shifted. We also thank each MARC supporter, community partner and sponsor, many of whom have reached out with words of support. These relationships are what define us as a ReMARCable family and give us the strength to weather this storm.
For over 55 years MARC has considered ourselves a family in every sense of the word. We do not use this as a catch phrase for we deliver services based on each individual’s needs and life wishes just as you do in any family setting. We have a dedicated staff that strive to give supports based on the fundamental belief in the self-worth of every person.
Personal relationships and acceptance are two of the most important factors in allowing MARC to serve the developmentally and intellectually disabled. Such gestures convey recognition and appreciation for the person and their quiet support services. Please know of our appreciation for your being a part of that circumstance.
Sincerely,
Diana Flenard
